Baillie Gifford awarded Future Woodlands Scotland a ‘runner up’ prize as part of their ‘Charity of the Year’ programme’ (2025).

bp

bp has a long-standing relationship with Future Woodlands Scotland, built on more than 20 years of support for woodland restoration in Scotland. Their involvement began with the pioneering Scottish Forest Alliance, which restored over 5,000 hectares of native woodland and led to the establishment of Future Woodlands Scotland. Since 2021, bp has partnered directly with us, helping to restore and create nearly 1,000 hectares of woodland through the Future Woodlands Fund and supporting the launch of both the Forestry Skills Programme and Urban Forestry Programme.

We’re working with Lantra to address the skills gap across the forestry sector through the provision of funding and training opportunities.
