Our work

Future Woodlands Scotland

Who we are

Future Woodlands Scotland is a Scottish charity working to create a Scotland where people and nature thrive.

Founded in 2012 to fund innovative thinking for trees and native woodlands, we’ve grown to offer programmes that help farmers and landowners plant or restore native woodlands. Today, our work spans rural and urban spaces, from research to action. Through the power of trees, we believe we can create lasting change for Scotland.

The Future Woodlands Scotland team is a dedicated team consisting of a volunteer Board of Directors and a small staff team of five. Meet the team.
